A Letter to Abortionist Dr. Mila Means From Kansans for Life
Dr. Mila Means has been training at a Kansas City, Kansas, abortion mill over the past several months so that she can begin her own abortion business in Wichita. Here is a letter that David Gittrich, State Development Director of Kansans for Life, wrote to her today (I received this in my email):
Dear Dr. Means:
I understand that you want to help women in need. So do we. Both of us are concerned about women dealing with an untimely pregnancy. Both of us want to help these women. So, what do we have to offer?
I’ll go first.
To the woman who is pregnant, and doesn’t want to be pregnant, and doesn’t know where to turn; we, that is the pro-life community, have much to offer. Let me tell you about some of what is offered to the woman.
We offer free counseling from those who have been there and done that. These counselors are well trained and understand the multitude of problems a woman might be dealing with. They understand family pressures, pressure from the boyfriend, pressure from school and other friends, etc. They do understand and they want to help the woman. Not just today, but for the months and years ahead so that the woman can get her life back together and solve some of the problems that she is facing.
We offer free material assistance as well. Maternity clothes, parenting classes, baby clothes, formula, etc. but most of all we want to help overcome problems and when material assistance is needed, we can help in this area as well.
We offer a place to stay, if needed, at no charge.
The pro-life community has long lists of agencies that we can refer the woman to that will provide free assistance in a variety of areas that may be of concern to the woman.
Volunteers will present to the woman different options and will discuss the good and the no-so-good that comes with each. One option is to keep the child. The blessings and difficulties of being a mother – a single mother – are explained to her by those that have been through this before. Placing the baby for adoption is another option. Again, she has the opportunity to understand the blessings and the hardships association with adoption.
We don’t offer the option of abortion because we know that abortion hurts women and we want to help women, not hurt them.
I’ll go into more depth on how abortion hurts women later, but it is important to note that all we do, we do for free for the woman. We are willing to spend time, lots of time, helping the woman.
Most importantly, since nearly everyone in the pro-life movement is a volunteer, they offer love, understanding, and friendship to the woman in need. This comes from their heart, not their paycheck. They want to help her and are willing to do what it takes to get her through these difficult problems.
What does the abortion industry offer to the woman facing an untimely pregnancy?
You will terminate the pregnancy. Birth will also terminate the pregnancy – so what is the difference between abortion and birth? In both cases the pregnancy is over. But in one case, the mother ends up with a dead baby (fetus), in the other the mother ends up with a baby to raise or to place for adoption so that someone else will be blessed with a baby.
Do you help the woman with her relationships? Did you know that when a woman who has an abortion to “save a relationship”, the relationship almost never survives.
I believe abortion is the best thing ever for the predatory male. It is his way of taking advantage of women and, if she gets pregnant, he pays for the abortion and moves on his merry way to the next woman (victim). Abortion is the best thing ever for this type of male and, if anything, enslaves the woman to continue to be his victim.
I’m sure you don’t want that to happen – but it does.
What about cost? Everything the pro-life community does is free because we want to help the woman and the baby. Is abortion free? Is there follow up with the woman to be sure there are no complications – physical as well as emotional? How about follow up several years later when most women begin to realize the full impact of abortion on their lives?
Well, you can explain how you help women. I’d really like to know.
My main point is that if you really want to help women, don’t abort them. Remember, we do everything for free and it is really hard to compete with people who are willing to do everything for free to help women.
Most Sincerely,
David Gittrich
